Job Role: The need is to appoint an industrious sales achiever who is already experienced counter side with fine Diamond Jewellery in particular. Advantageously this client has breadth & depth of in-stock items so you must be agile in appreciating what is ever available and enjoy presenting fine jewellery merchandise to visiting clientele.

Importantly your salesmanship style will mirror our client’s inherent commitment to ever serve - their ethos is to sell to exact need and ever show empathy & appreciation of each purchase’s significance for the buyer and the ultimate receiver.

The stores team dynamics are well honed and delightfully within we already have many colleagues with decent long service. All in -store pride themselves as being able to work as a collective, striving to always over deliver versus customer expectation.

Operating in-store you need to be mindful to care for the collections of jewellery merchandise that you are ever entrusted to handle - an awareness of best security protocols and an attention to maintain optimum store visual merchandising standards is a must.

Requirements:

  • Our client is very pro - industry accreditation so if you have achieved already a JET (Jewellery Educational Trust) qualification that would be felt to be a great signal as to your interest in developing your career within fine jewellery.

  • Applicants need to be prepared to work across weekends - being located in such a tourist / visitor destination as they are - days in lieu are allocated to best suit all during the week.

  • Individually you still enjoy learning newness be it stretching your skills to consulting on bespoke jewellery design, buying, or selling precious metals, across to advising how best to care or repair already owned or soon to be bought jewellery

  • Possess great negotiating and influencing skills able to communicate & build effective relationships at all levels.
