Our client based in Birmingham is looking for a Sales Consultant to join their team. Our client is a large furniture retailer and due to recent growth they are growing their team.

To be considered for the Sales Consultant role you must have previous Retail experience selling big ticket items like bathrooms, furniture, cars or Kitchens.

**Responsibilities of the Sales Consultant role are**:

- Drive sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Continuously develop product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to achieve sales goals
- Accurately record and manage customer information and sales data Requirements:
**Requirements for the Sales Consultant role is**:

- Proven track record of sales success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Knowledge of home furniture and décor is desirable

Our client is offering £22 000 to £25 000 basic dependant on experience. OTE for the Sales Consultant role is around £45 000.

Please note as the Sales Consultant is working for a well-established retailer, working hours will vary. You will be required to work every weekend in this role.
