In this pivotal role, as part of the senior management team, you’ll support in steering strategy, driving our continued growth and building a strong brand awareness.


Here's what you'll champion:

  • Identify and secure lucrative tender opportunities: Leverage your project experience in maritime engineering and offshore to spearhead our tendering process.
  • Forge strategic partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key clients and industry players, expanding our global network.
  • Become a champion for our brand: Develop a winning marketing strategy to elevate Herbosch Kiere's profile and reputation internationally.
  • Stay one step ahead: Analyse competitor activity and identify new markets and service offerings for the company to pursue.
  • Collaborate for success: Work hand-in-hand with the Managing Director and other departments to maximise opportunities and achieve shared goals.


Essential skills and criteria?

  • Maritime Industry Expertise: Proven track record in maritime/civil engineering and offshore projects, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Proven Business Acumen: Demonstrated success in securing tenders and developing winning business development plans.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and through presentations, fostering positive interpersonal relationships.
  • Strategic Visionary: A strategic thinker with the ability to create compelling marketing and presentation materials.
  • Relationship Builder: Proven ability to leverage strong networking skills to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-Directed Achiever: Highly motivated and capable of independently managing workload to achieve exceptional results.


Embrace a flexible workstyle

This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of both homeworking and collaborating with colleague’s face to face. The role is based at our Chiswick office with occasional meetings requiring travel to Shoreham. We recommend applicants are based within the south of England.


Travel and Explore:

In addition, the role involves regular client visits and networking events, primarily across the south of England, with occasional travel further afield.
