  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process payroll and assist in the administration of employee benefits.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures as required.
  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., AAT) preferred but not required.

Location: Hove, East Sussex, UK.

Schedule: This is a temporary assignment working part-time, requiring a commitment of 2 to 3 days per week. The schedule can be flexible based on mutual agreement.
