Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client bookkeeping duties, including financial statement preparation and reconciliations
  • Assist clients with bookkeeping and software queries, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Oversee VAT Returns and liaise with clients to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and review financial schedules and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • File VAT and CIS returns, ensuring all client work is completed within set timescales

Requirements:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Familiarity with cloud bookkeeping software, specifically Xero
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation
