Cambridge - Sales Director - £75k (£100k OTE) - Technology
Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovative provider of specialist engineering solutions. They are looking to recruit a Sales Director to join their team. You will develop profitable revenues for product lines, manage and grow existing and new sales channels, and contribute to the overall achievement of company objectives and KPI targets.
Main Duties:
+ Maintaining and developing product sales both direct to customers and through distributors
+ Working with customers and internally to finalise customer specifications
+ Ensuring a timely and professional response to customer and distributor enquiries
+ Generating and following-up sales leads from trade shows and other marketing activities
+ Attending suitable exhibitions and conferences
Requirements:
+ Highly experienced in sales with proven success
+ Strong technical knowledge either from an educational background in physics/biosciences/engineering etc, or experience with relevant products such as medical devices/optical physics
Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this position is £65k-£75k, and comes with an expected £25k bonus (performance dependant
+ This role is based in Cambridge, but hybrid working options are available. There will also be travel of up to 40% involved in the position
