Case Manager Residential Mortgages

Key AccountabilitiesEngage with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally in order to obtain information to progress cases to completionMonitor and manage upcoming expiration of documents and offersUpdate all relevant systems to maintain management informationEnsure that all mortgage conditions are satisfied prior to cases completingWork closely with the underwriting team to effectively manage the post offer caseloadProcess incoming completion documentation either via post email etcProvide daily/weekly/monthly completion forecasts to line managerGain a full understanding or the underwriting process (underwriting cross skill to provide cover when required)Create a digital application file and ensure all necessary documentation is collected scanned and stored correctlyInstructing Solicitors to act on behalf of West One in the transactionCarrying out a QA check for other underwriters.As experience increases the trainee underwriters cases will need to be QA checked by another member of the teamA point of contact for incoming calls to the teams main group telephone number. Return any original documents to clientsSkills & CompetenciesPass internal competency tests post inductionStrong organisational skills Good verbal & written communication skillsExcellent attention to detail Time managementCompetent user of Microsoft office softwarePositive attitude to develop and expand knowledgeAbility to perform under pressure and meet deadlinesKnowledge & QualificationsExperience within the secured lending sectorA good understanding of the underwriting processPrevious experience of managing a caseload in a fast-paced environmentIndustry relevant qualifications are beneficial but not a requirementExperience within an administrative roleGCSE English & Maths Personal AttributesExcellent communication skillsResilient and flexibleTeam PlayerApproachable and self- motivated Key Skills Project Portfolio Management,Motivational Interviewing,HIPAA,Computer Skills,Intake Experience,Lean Six Sigma,Conflict Management,Case Management,Team Management,Program Development,Social Work,Addiction Counseling Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
