Due to our success in wireless solutions, the company has made a strategic decision to expand the product portfolio to provide Unified Communications (UC) and Audiovisual (AV) solutions, where we believe there is synergy with our existing partners.


Open Reality has just signed a new distribution agreement with a global brand to offer their Certified Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and AV portfolio. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who has experience in the UC/AV industry to head up this new team. The chosen candidate will help drive the initial channel messaging and marketing campaigns to develop and grow partner adoption across the current reseller base, while targeting new channel resellers with vendor support. The Senior Account Manager will work with the business and the vendors to achieve revenue targets and support the development of a business plan for our UC/AV solutions which will include the expansion of complementary UC/AV vendors.


The chosen candidate will have overall responsibility for sales revenues in the UC/AV team. They will be responsible for identifying and contacting channel partners in our database that already specialise in UC/AV solutions, whilst also collaborating with the wireless sales team on lead referrals. Leveraging your specialised knowledge, you will lead customer interactions, showcase innovative solutions, and develop long term partnerships to contribute to our overall business growth.


This is an exciting new role in a fast-growing company and would be ideal for someone looking to help grow a UC/AV practice. Whilst the role will initially be sales focused, the aspiration for the division is to grow both the vendors carried and the head count within team, which could provide the suitable candidate management progression opportunities.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Account profiling.
  • Partner recruitment and development.
  • Vendor collaboration and management.
  • Hitting monthly sales and KPI targets.
  • Ensuring effective management of the CRM to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Implementing sales strategies to increase revenues within defined customer base.
  • Ensuring customer renewals and marketing leads are managed correctly.
  • Operating efficiently as part of a wider team (management, pre/post sales, marketing, project managers etc…).
  • Continuously increasing product knowledge, sales skills/techniques and commercial acumen.
  • Delivering exceptional service through your own efforts and the wider team.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to drive excellence.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in Account Management, with a strong background in UC/AV.
  • Distribution experience
  • Strategic mindset to help drive expansion of the practice.
  • Highly organised with excellent pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Ability to self-motivate with a driven and determined mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about technology.
