About the Role

As a Senior Risk and Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in achieving our growth objectives through robust risk management and compliance frameworks. This newly created role will support our Head of Compliance in ensuring financial stability and guidance to senior management, aligning with our strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities


Risk Management:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise risk management framework, Identifying and assess risks across all segments, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead the design and implementation of Control Risk Self-Assessment processes for 1st line teams.

Compliance:

  • Conduct regulatory horizon scanning to identify emerging regulations and industry trends.
  • Design and deliver the annual compliance monitoring programme, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML):

  • Oversee pre-onboarding screening for new clients and suppliers, ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive ongoing monitoring programme for AML risks.



What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in risk management and compliance within an FCA regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in risk management, compliance, and AML.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CRISC) are desirable.
