InterQuest Group is seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst to enhance our team within a leading Payments organization. This role focuses on the critical processes of onboarding new clients while ensuring the ongoing evaluation of our current customer base. The successful candidate will play a vital role in aligning our customer onboarding practices with regulatory requirements and internal risk management frameworks. This position provides considerable flexibility and may involve occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Onboarding: Execute thorough Know Your Business (KYB) evaluations for new clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory mandates.
- Risk Evaluation: Apply and refine risk assessment methodologies to determine customer risks during both the onboarding phase and continuous monitoring.
- Compliance Investigation: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective clients to verify adherence to regulatory and internal policy standards.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Systematically review and analyze the existing customer portfolio to pinpoint compliance risks and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance operations, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports to senior leadership regarding customer risk profiles, emphasizing any significant trends or concerns.
- Remediation Strategies: Design and implement remediation plans for clients who fail to meet compliance benchmarks, overseeing their progress and providing internal updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or financial crime prevention.
- Comprehensive understanding of payment services and the electronic money sector, particularly regarding card schemes.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and effective time management.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating strong relationships across diverse levels and regions.
