Are you an experienced L & D Officer looking for a new challenge within a “people-focused” manufacturing business, if the answer is yes, and you have experience delivering Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in a factory setting then this is the perfect opportunity for you.


The Company

This is an innovative & ambitious manufacturing business; their produce is for National retail customers. Established over 30 years ago they have developed into a leading player in their industry with multi-site operations.


The Role

The Learning & Development Officer is a new position, reporting directly to the Group Training, Learning & Development Manager. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of training and development duties, which will include.

  • Inductions, food safety and health & safety refreshers
  • Development of staff from factory operatives to middle management.
  • Design, develop and facilitate front-line leadership programmes.
  • Identify and deliver a broad range of learning opportunities
  • Support in the auditing of training, bringing innovative solutions to redesign sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support their development plans
  • Manage and maintain all data ensuring compliance is upheld for the site.


Your Skills & Experience

To be considered as the new Learning & Development Officer, you will need.

  • CIPD Level 3 or working towards qualification
  • Exemplary Soft Skills
  • Previous experience in an L&D role within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS)
  • Driving license and own vehicle as difficult location by public transport
