They are now looking for an Employability Coach to join them on a part-time, fixed-term basis until 1st April 2025, working 18.75 hours per week.

The Role

 

As an Employability Coach, you will support refugees, migrants, and members of the local community with career advice and information that will help them get back into work.

 

This role operates as part of our client’s services supporting refugees and migrants as well as tenants and clients and you will support the wider community as well as those they are directly working with.

 

Offering face-to-face meetings, group sessions and workshops, you will provide an introduction to UK national and regional labour market and employment trends. Your aim will be to help people to secure jobs and training or start their own business.

 

About You

 

To be considered as an Employability Coach, you will need:

 

- Experience of supporting clients into work, education and/or training

- Experience of coaching & mentoring, preferably into employment

- Experience of facilitating group sessions and delivering lessons

- Experience of offering advice and guidance to service users in a previous role

- Experience can be from a coaching, mentoring or advisory capacity

- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with employers, training providers, and support organisations

- A teaching qualification (or the willingness to achieve this within 12 months)

- At a minimum, a degree (or equivalent)
