Employability Coach

St Basils is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employability Coach to join our team. As an Employability Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting young people to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in education, employment, and training.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver accredited group activities focused on employability skills and support young people to attain accreditation.
- Build positive relationships with young people on a group and one-to-one basis.
- Utilize coaching and mentoring skills to constructively challenge attitudes and behaviors of young people.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans and learning schedules to achieve skills delivery outcomes.
- Engage learners and inspire them to identify learning and job goals relevant to the local labour market.
- Assess learners' work in compliance with accreditor standards.
- Provide post-programme reports on young people's progress and achievements.
- Conduct inductions and initial assessments to evaluate learners' attainment.
- Work within specified KPIs to ensure learners can access employment, education, and training opportunities.
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above.
- The Level 3 Award in Education and Training or other relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience of working with young people in employability, education, and training settings.
- Ability to deliver a range of different activities and develop partnerships with internal departments and external agencies.
- NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance, Careers Advice, or other relevant/equivalent qualifications.
- Experience of delivering basic skills assessments and utilizing ICT packages.
- Knowledge of Housing Policy and Youth Homelessness.
