About the role

Are you an experienced Tutor Coordinator looking to utilise this skill set within a thriving learning environment? Then why not join us within the School of Visual Arts, where you will supervise and coordinate a range of short courses within the Painting and Drawing programme area. Working with the Head of Programme, you will contribute to the design and success of a distinctive and high-quality programme. You will support tutors with curriculum developments and quality of the provision, as well as monitoring and supporting with any student related matters.

  • Up-to-date knowledge, enthusiasm, and interest for Painting and Drawing as well as a qualification relevant to the subject and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of developing and managing courses and curriculum in an adult education setting.
  • Experience of teaching Painting and Drawing in an adult education setting. Please indicate clearly in your application your areas of expertise and experience.
  • Experience of being a practicing artist with tight links to art world and demonstrable evidence of contemporary practice.
  • Experience of effectively leading a team of Tutors, supporting them to maintain and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.
