ABOUT THE ROLEWild Child Animation is looking for a Senior Production Coordinator to join us on a CG animated childrens TV series. This role will be assigned to coordinate a large Animation department.Our Production Coordinators are responsible for supporting the projects Producer/Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the production. Here are some key tasks you will be involved with in this role:Assigning and monitoring task progress for assigned department(s).Scheduling department(s) whilst keeping an eye on dependencies and finding solutions where possible.General day to day problem solving.Reporting and tracking notes across department(s).Being a key contact for all artists to offer support and to help guide the production.Direct contact for client deliveries and some communication.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORPrevious experience within a similar production role. We will also consider Junior PMs for the positionExperience in handling large animation teamsA proven track record of delivering long form CG series animation projectsHigh level of organisation and pro-activenessStrong scheduling skills with the ability to adapt to changing schedulesAttention to detail with ability to work to tight deadlinesAn effective communicator with the ability to nurture a collaborative environmentA team player who also asks for help when needed.Candidates must be based in the UK ideally located regionally outside the M25. Must be based in the UK to be considered.HOURS: Our standard studio hours are 7 working hours a day (usually 10am to 6pm) Monday to Friday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours on an individual basis where this is possible in the production pipeline.STUDIO CLOSURES: The studio has team-wide breaks throughout the year. These are usually 1-2 days in Spring up to 10 days in Summer and 8-10 days over the Winter festive period.
