We are recruiting for the above role to join our Abattoir team based in Bridge of Allan.

Key Role Accountabilities:

- Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of HR/Administrative tasks
- Effective communication
- To manage the process for new starters, including inductions, completion of new starter packs and contracts, creating new starter files, checking proof of identification and other key documentation
- To manage the process for leavers, including maintenance of records and liaising with other relevant departments.
- Upload HR files and post information accurately and in a timely manner to electronic records, including personal detail changes.
- Dealing with general departmental enquiries e.g. letter requests, reference requests, benefits agency forms etc. Responsible for the smooth and effective day to day administration and coordination of the department, ensuring that all policy and processes are carried out accurately and promptly, guaranteeing compliance and confidentiality at all times.
- Helping manage the absence process from an HR perspective; fit notes logged for payroll; liaising with HRAs on AWOL and LTS and any actions required.
- Responsible for the coordination of the Employee Engagement Survey, Customer Surveys and support the team in engagement activities as appropriate.
- Manage a wide range of administrative tasks, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
- Processing and completion of queries from employees and other departments in a professional and confidential manner.
Skills & Knowledge:
Essential
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced HR or Administration environment
- Dynamic individual who has passion for what they do and has the confidence to challenge decisions
- Must be able to perform a variety of duties while adhering to deadlines and maintaining accuracy
- Must be able to retain confidentiality at all times
- Clear communicator and able to build positive working relationships
- Passionate about providing a great service and support to the business
- Team worker, who is flexible to the needs of the department
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office, Word Powerpoint & Excel
Desirable
- Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment
- HR or business degree
