Compliance Manager

Are you an experienced compliance professional with a strong background in aviation? We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance the compliance monitoring system for our esteemed client. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic airport environment, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple locations.


Role Overview:

As the Compliance Manager, you will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day compliance activities. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will develop, implement, and continuously improve the compliance monitoring system, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Audit Development and Maintenance:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive auditing procedures for all operational areas.
  • Issue corrective actions and ensure timely follow-up to closure.
  • Conduct audits of third parties and suppliers.


Audit Management:

  • Undertake, produce, and manage both internal and external audit programs.
  • Monitor audit outcomes and challenge any findings requiring action.
  • Administer the audit system, ensuring all documentation is accurately uploaded and records maintained.


Regulatory Compliance Support:

  • Assist other managers in achieving regulatory compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Civil Aviation Authority’s oversight program.
  • Monitor and respond to CAA audit reports and findings.


Training and Process Improvement:

  • Deliver Management System training to relevant staff.
  • Streamline the audit process for efficiency and effectiveness.


Documentation and Change Management:

  • Maintain document control processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s change management process and chair the Change Management Review meetings.


Safety and Security Oversight:

  • Support the Safety and Security Manager in monitoring airside safety.
  • Manage processes related to safeguarding the aerodrome and local airspace environment.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of aerodrome operations and departmental functions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven experience in an aviation environment with a track record of achieving regulatory compliance.
