Trusts Officer

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to London office)

Salary: circa £36,000 per annum

Reports to: Trusts Manager

Term: Permanent

Working hours: We’re open to flexible working

Aquilas are delighted to be supporting a national youth charity in their search for a new Trusts Fundraiser to join the charity’s successful and dedicated fundraising team.

About the role:

You will play a crucial role in identifying, cultivating, and securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations to support their vital work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research and approach potential charitable trusts and foundations to secure funding.
  • Develop and submit compelling funding proposals and reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors.
  • Assist in the development of funding applications to statutory and multilateral sources

About you           

  • We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven experience of trust fundraising with strong track record of securing five-figure gifts.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
