Senior Trust Fundraising Officer

Harris Hill is seeking a highly skilled Senior Trust Fundraising Officer to join their team for a 10-11 month period, covering maternity leave for an international animal welfare charity.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable organization and contribute to the success of their fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise income generated from charitable trusts, foundations, multilateral and statutory sources
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, potential supporters and other stakeholders
- Produce compelling applications, proposals, mailings, in-depth research profiles and feedback reports
- Provide exemplary stewardship and deliver income against targets
- Utilise prospect research techniques to suggest suitable projects and build long-term relationships
- Work collaboratively and autonomously as part of a dynamic team
Requirements:
- Experience in a fundraising role or equivalent, with a track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships
- Experience of trust and/or statutory/multilateral fundraising and delivering income against targets
- Ability to understand complex information and finances, and convey it in concise and persuasive applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using databases, preferably Raiser's Edge
