Midlothian, United Kingdom CMS UK Full time

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed lawyer to join our Financial Services Team in Scotland, with members based in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

CMS has one of the few large, stand alone financial services practices in the City of London. The combined UK Financial Services team consists of 9 partners and a team of 22 other fee-earners and trainees in the UK. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career and develop the Firm's Financial Services practice.

The Financial Services Team in Scotland provides transaction support and advice to the Firm's most important FS clients (including banks, insurers and investment / asset management companies) in all areas which require specialist FS Law input. The Team also works closely with other groups in the firm to service clients.

We take a bold, dynamic, and agile approach to ensure our clients are able to face the future with confidence. The position requires the ability to work under pressure autonomously and as part of the Team.

About You

We will invest in your ongoing training and development to support your professional goals and help you to thrive in your role from day one. Our opportunities are open to all suitably qualified applicants, so to be considered for this role you must meet the following skills and experience:
