Finance Assistant

  • Hourly Rate: £14.00
  • Location: Office-based position
  • Job Type: Temporary (Approximately 2 months)

We are seeking a diligent Finance Assistant to join our award-winning team on a temporary basis. This full-time role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for finance operations, particularly within purchase ledger management.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Accurate entry of purchase ledger data, with a focus on utility invoices.
  • Thoroughly checking details to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborating with the Property Manager and site teams to verify details and expedite processing.
  • Proactively chasing up outstanding items and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Performing additional duties related to purchase ledger and sales ledger as directed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in a finance role, particularly with purchase ledger tasks.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with various departments and external parties.
  • Proficiency in finance software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
