My client, who are based near Slough, are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to join their close-knit, high-performing sales team.
They are a well-known, global company who specialise within the automotive industry. They always aim to give their customer's the best service possible and pride themselves in their fun and busy working environment.
Description
Key responsibilities of the Business Development Executive include:
- Qualifying and converting warm leads into customers (no cold calling)
- Focus on a high level of outbound calling and identify where sales can be made
- Contribute to the entire new business process, suggesting ideas to maximise new customer sign up
- Ensure all individual and team sales targets are achieved
- To contribute to the overall success of the office by both personal performance and team spirit
- Work closely with Service Delivery teams to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure all customer and management reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Be involved with any ad hoc projects that may be required
- Identify and evaluate risks within the department (including errors, fraud and inappropriate procedures) and take appropriate measures to manage these
Profile
The successful Business Development Executive will have:
- Previous sales experience with a proven track record of selling and achieving targets
- Experience or knowledge within the automotive/dealership/leasing industry (or similar) is highly desirable
- Display a positive attitude at all times
- Must be a good active listener
- Customer driven with a proven ability to build long-term relationships with customers
- Excellent time management skills. Well organised with the ability to plan and manage own workload
- The ability to take ownership of issues and confidently delegate non-sales related tasks
- Must enjoy being part of and actively participating in a team environment
- Someone who can work in a very busy and fast-paced working environment
