Oldham, United Kingdom Bennett & Game Recruitment Full time

Bennett & Game are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join a Leading Fitout Contractor, based from their Oldham office. The Commercial Manager will be reporting to the Commercial Director, while overseeing a team of 10 Surveyors & Buyers, providing advice around contractual issues, mentoring the team and upskilling their knowledge. Alongside overseeing the team, you will also be involved in managing some project work either alongside a QS in the team or solo when needed.

Projects range from £100k to £10M+, sectors include; leisure, hospitality, retail, office space, student accommodation and commercial. Locations are nationwide however the role will be office based with site visits, working away is not required. Their turnover currently stands at circa £50M, with over 50 staff.

Commercial Manager Position Salary & Benefits

* Salary: £60k - £70k DOE (guide only- open to discussion) * Car Allowance * Hybrid working (1-2 days per week, varies with workload, site visits, meetings etc.)* Bonus scheme * 25 days holiday plus BH* Stable business with a full order book * Low staff turnover rate * Pension scheme Commercial Manager Position Overview* Working for a Fitout Specialist based in Oldham * Overseeing a team of 10 (Surveyors & Buyers) while reporting to the Commercial Director * Managing some project work in the role * Providing contractual advice to more junior members of the team * Operating both from head office and across sites as required

Commercial Manager Position Requirements

* Prior experience as a SQS or Commercial Manager * Completed fitout projects previously * Open to Senior QS candidate seeking a step up * Able to commute to Oldham * Good contractual knowledge to support the team * Good tenure and seeking a permanent PAYE role
