Are you an experienced Security Operations professional seeking a new role? Locke & McCloud has partnered with a well- respected global organisation who is looking for a Security Operations Manager to lead a small team of 2 security analysts.
Keen to hear from candidates who have experience working across regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and documentation in collaboration with the Technology Leadership Team, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives to achieve risk goals, policies, and procedures.
- Establish and maintain relationships with security vendors, including SoC, SiEM, and MDR services.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to research and evaluate emerging security threats, identifying and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Manage audit findings to ensure that business departments understand the issues and that remediations effectively mitigate information security risks.
- Drive and support an exceptions and waivers process ensuring exceptions are appropriately reviewed and action.
- Promote the organisation's security policy, to ensure appropriate measures are taken to secure the firm's information and minimise security incidents.
About you:
- Knowledge of Azure, encryption key management and cloud- based services.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience of aligning technology solutions with best practice.
- Familiarity with the requirements of ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Communicate confidently and clearly (verbal and written) with people at all levels of the business hierarchy.
- Lead teams and display gravitas when managing key initiatives.
