Overview:

A leading insurance company is seeking an Events Specialist to join their team in London. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning and executing a variety of events that effectively communicate the company's brand story and reinforce their position within the market. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Events & Hospitality Manager to design and implement a creative events and hospitality programme that aligns with business objectives and enhances the brand.
  • Take the lead in organising a wide range of events, including industry conferences, client dinners, internal workshops, virtual meetings, trade exhibitions, and corporate seminars, to showcase the company's expertise and strengthen market presence.
  • Develop detailed event proposals that meet stakeholder requirements, covering aspects such as venue selection, entertainment options, guest speakers, and team-building activities.
  • Oversee the execution of specific events, ensuring that each one meets its objectives and positively impacts the brand's visibility. On-site management will also be a key part of the role to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Produce all necessary materials, including name badges, information packs, briefing documents, and registration lists, ensuring they meet the company's high standards.
  • Manage guest lists, send out invitations, monitor responses, and work closely with stakeholders to maximise attendance and engagement.

About You:

  • Proven experience in organising and delivering high-profile events, particularly within the financial or professional services sectors.
  • Ability to handle multiple, complex events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in working effectively with external agencies to execute large-scale events.
  • Strong background in supporting internal communications and brand-building initiatives.
