Our client is a manufacturer and retailer of chairs and sofa's that are designed with comfort, functionality and style. The luxury brand are small to medium sized, and are now looking for a keen and immediately available candidate, to come and join the West End based team.

Description

The key responsibilities of this German Accounts Assistant will be:

* Responding promptly to suppliers and client queries over email* Raising sales invoices on Paprika & liaising with the client* Covering the end to end debtor process* Updating the aged debtors frequently & liaising with the team* Processing purchase invoices promptly for 5 entities* Reconciling 10 bank accounts in various currencies daily* Creating bi-weekly supplier payment runs* Setting up payments in the bank for the FD to authorise* Monthly credit card reconciliations across 3 currencies

Profile

A successful German Finance Assistant should have:

  • Minimum two years experience in a similar accountancy role
  • Fluency in German
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software systems.
  • A detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • An ability to work effectively in a team setting.
