Our client specialises in pharmaceutical wholesale, export, storage and distribution. They are seeking a Quality Specialist to help establish and maintain the Quality Systems, driving the Quality first Culture and ensuring compliance against regulations.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Quality Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. You will take responsibility for ensuring compliance to regulatory standards, including GDP (MHRA) UK Home Office, and ISO certifications for the company.


2. As the Quality Specialist, you will take full ownership of the development and maintenance of site-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS), working within a small team. This will include scheduling and managing audit plans, External Supplier Audits, managing the CAPA / Deviations process, updating current SOP's, arranging and chairing QMS reviews as well as working with the senior leadership team advising on Quality issues.


3. It will be your responsibility to help support the business in their wider activities, such as supporting other teams by advising on Quality standards, and how the business are able to be compliant handling various products during the planned growth phase.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Quality Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. You will possess a wealth of quality experience within a Pharmaceutical Wholesale and Distribution business, preferably with export / import activity.

2. You will have previous experience working within a Quality Assurance team, upholding quality standards within a GDP compliant business.


3. Have a desire to progress to RP / Deputy status.
