Capital Modelling Manager


Lloyds of London - NNQ / NQ Actuary - up to £95,000 base


What is on offer?

Cavehill Consulting are currently working with a leading Lloyds syndicate to appoint an experienced actuary skilled in Capital Modelling (ideally Tyche.) This client is a top quartile operator with a real focus on their people, who are entrusted to bring success to themselves, their teams and ultimately the organisation.



What is the role?

  • Build out the capital team to support modelling of new platforms/strategic opportunities.
  • Accelerate model development
  • Enhance capital output analytics and diagnostics
  • Support model use initiatives (e.g. reinsurance, ALM, etc.)
  • Support validation



We're seeking someone who....

  • Can quickly get to grips with the model/TCM
  • Has good intuition when analysing model outputs
  • Is creative and smart approach to driving output analysis and diagnostics
  • Can communicate complicated outcomes
  • Demonstrates perseverance when investigating issues
  • Works well under pressure and can step up when needed



We're keen to identify someone at NQ/NNQ level ideally with Lloyds capital modelling experience. You'll be skilled in using off the shelf modelling software, preferably Tyche. This role offers the opportunity to hone and develop your skills within a close knit team with big ambitions. The role is offered with hybrid working arrangements (circa 3 days per week in office.)
