We are currently seeking an additional proactive Critical Electrically biased Shift Leader to be based at a large Data Centre in Hertfordshire, working directly with the Data Hosting Company. The complex is known to have a very friendly atmosphere and can boast above average “Staff Retention Levels” to the envy of their close competitors. You would be leading a specialist Critical team ensuring the power and ambient integrity in a state-of-the-art technical Data Centre that offers an excellent modern and clean environment to work within.


This is an opportunity not to be missed with easy travel access out of the heart of London. “With the Current global uncertainty” This role is worth a potential “Market Leading Salary of £71k incl. Bonus”, plus opportunities to boost this further with overtime.


You MUST be Electrically qualified engineer and come from a Critical Data Centre or Banking background and to have previously led shift teams within a similar environment. It is also essential that you have current H/V switching authorisation and to have previously switched a minimum of 11Kv on a regular basis. Candidates should ideally have completed an apprenticeship or have equivalent time-served experience within M&E maintenance environments. You would also have hands-on experience of covering the planned and reactive maintenance to H/V systems, Single & three-phase power, UPS, Power Generators, lighting, HVAC plant, air conditioning, etc. Candidates will need to have full electrical City & Guilds, or equivalent.
