  • Managing a small team of Buyers
  • Project Management – liaising with a new Overseas manufacturing site with regards to product specifications, quality, local supply feasibility/suitability
  • Supplier relationship management for the site, acting as main escalation point for queries, issues
  • Inventory management/rightsizing, working closely with the Material Handling, Production, Stores, Supply Chain
About YouThe ideal Purchasing Manager will be able to start in September for a period of 12 months and will have/be:
  • A Procurement professional with a background in high volume manufacturing, project procurement experience within NPI also beneficial
  • Able to hit the ground running, proactive, assertive, able to use initiative, capable of managing upwards
  • Experienced in working in intense, fast-paced environments – able to be decisive under pressure
  • Experienced in NPI, change management, project management
  • Resilient, strong communicator, confident in engaging, communicating and building relationships cross functionally with internal/external stakeholders of all levels
