The Role:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a target driven, dynamic, growth minded National Business Development Manager to join one of the world's largest manufacturers of commercial laundry equipment, and make a real impact within their sales team.
Targeting a range of clients within the Hospitality, Health Care, Private & Public sector, across the UK, this role is perfect for someone who is looking for real variety in their day to day. Approaching national chains within these sectors you will be resilient and tenacious in your approach, relentlessly moving relationships with potential clients forward until you close the business.
This role is 100% new business focused and having a support team behind you to assist with various admin responsibilities, you can focus on what you do best…building relationships with your client base. Working as part of the wider sales team, this is a great opportunity for someone currently working in a national role or someone in a regional role looking for that step up in their career
This role involves a solution-based sell, so you will need to be highly consultative in your approach. Dealing with decision makers from regional general managers to buyers, you will need to be an adaptable communicator.
Based from home, you will have the autonomy and freedom to develop a strategic plan to hit your targets, through calls, emails, arranging face to face meetings and compilation & submission of National Tenders. While you will predominantly be based out on the road, the rest of the time you will be working from home, with occasional travel to Head Office.
Requirements:
To be considered for the National Business Development Manager role you must:
· Currently selling into National hospitality, healthcare, or private and public sector (hospitality is a huge advantage) chains OR…
· Currently be selling Commercial Laundry equipment.
· Strong new business background.
· Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills.
· Be a consultative & structured salesperson, who has a proven track record in solution-based selling.
The Package for National Business Development Manager
· Basic salary circa £50-60'000 + uncapped bonus scheme (£30k realistic OTE)
· Hybrid Company Car
· Mobile phone, Laptop & iPad
· Personal health care plan, Pension, Fuel Card.
· 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
