**Your New Role**

Here at National Highways, we currently have exciting opportunities for Business Services Coordinators to join our teams in either our Birmingham or Nottingham offices. Within this role you’ll focus on providing efficient and effective service to internal and external customers, whilst supporting the delivery of all operational capabilities across the Midlands region.

**What you’ll be leading on**:

- Engage with customers, both verbally and in writing, in response to enquiries and complaints.
- Ensure responses meet ambitious quality and timeliness targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaborative working.
- Support operational delivery through the drafting of regulatory and legal processes, including Traffic Regulation Orders.
- Embrace a continuous improvement culture to challenge and promote new ways of working, to meet the increasing needs of the business and our customers.
- Provision of effective administrative support to the business. A broad ranging accountability which may include executive and project support, support to meetings and conferences, and management of supplies and consumables.
- Sustain a helpful, proactive and supportive culture in the delivery of operational support and business services.
- Contribute to the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues through vigilance. Participate in team level Health and Wellbeing activities.

**To be successful**:

- Experience of complaint resolution, both written and verbal, ideally in a direct customer facing role
- Experience of managing and responding to written correspondence
- A firm focus on attention to detail, and drafting complex documents accurately
- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in the use of business information and document management systems such as Microsoft Office
