Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated team of accounts receivables professionals, offering guidance, support, and nurturing a collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounts receivables department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in invoice processing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Establish and uphold best practices for accounts receivables processes, consistently seeking opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate across departments, including finance and sales, to streamline processes and promptly resolve any issues.
  • Address escalated customer inquiries and disputes with professionalism and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Produce regular reports and analyses to monitor receivables performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in accounts receivables/credit control, including supervisory experience within a small team.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and developing a team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach to tasks, readily engaging in day-to-day operations as required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, prioritising accuracy and efficiency in all work aspects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
