The Role

As a Database Analyst, you will manage, maintain, and optimise SQL Server databases while contributing to innovative projects, including designing hybrid architectures and creating centralised data lakes. You will play a critical role in database administration, performance optimisation, cloud data management, and security compliance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SQL Server databases, including SSRS and SSIS.
  • Optimise performance and implement hybrid database solutions using AWS or Azure.
  • Ensure database security through encryption, audits, and compliance with data regulations.
  • Design and implement data lakes for enhanced reporting and application development.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure database alignment with business needs.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience with SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS.
  • Strong understanding of database clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Expertise in cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL) and hybrid architectures.
  • Knowledge of database security best practices and data lake implementations.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
