We are now seeking to appoint a Clinical Research Contracts Manager to join our dedicated legal department.
The Clinical Research Contracts Manager is responsible for supporting and managing the review, drafting and negotiating of agreements which include master service agreements, stand alone agreements, clinical trial agreements (particularly APBI mCTA’s) and contractor agreements, along with providing legal support to the legal team and its internal stakeholders.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- A Law degree and legal experience.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry/life sciences particularly in research and development in the UK and globally.
- Experience of working with ABPI model clinical trial agreements.
- In depth knowledge of contract law in the United Kingdom.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills particularly in the support of clinical trials/services.
- Experience of drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts.
- Ability to manage own workload.
- Sound knowledge of ICH GCP and Data Protection.
- Able to build and maintain professional relationships across the business and to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to be flexible and reprioritise work loads dependent of the company demands.
PHYSICAL, WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL DEMANDS:
- The role is remote with occasional attendance on site as required from time to time.
