**Role: Registered Manager (Maternity Cover)**

**Salary: £50,000.00 per annum - pro rata**

**Hours: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract as Maternity Cover (40 hours per week,

**Our next Registered Manager will be someone who has:**

* _**Level 5 Diploma - Leadership and Management Children’s and Young People (Preferred or willing to work towards)**_
* **Level 3 Diploma -** **Residential Childcare (Preferred or willing to work towards)**
* **Full UK Driving Licence required plus access to own vehicle**
* Extensive experience of working in a residential setting
* High level of working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children’s Act and Quality Care Standards
* Experience of leading and motivating teams
* Ability to effectively train individuals and groups

Acorn Education, are recruiting a Registered Manager (Maternity Cover) to join
our teams within the Shrewsbury area.

Our registered independent accommodation offers support for vulnerable young
people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Brookfield Place accommodation has a capacity of 3. We support Young People
from the ages of 13 to 15 to build incredible futures by giving them
opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

This accommodation is based in Shrewsbury and is within commuting distance
Telford, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch (Shropshire) and surrounds.

Our accommodations are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too,
everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences – for those we
look after and for everyone in our team
