About Us:

An award-winning garden design, landscaping, and maintenance company is looking for a General Manager to join their team.

Role Overview:

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of operations, marketing, sales, and human resources. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in landscaping and horticulture to drive business growth and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management: Supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and market presence.
  3. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop staff across all departments.
  5. Client Relations: Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  6. Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
  7. Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues in projects and team dynamics promptly.
  8. Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators across departments to ensure weekly targets are met.

Qualifications:

  1. Extensive experience in landscaping and horticulture, with a focus on small-scale domestic projects.
  2. Proven track record in business growth and operational management.
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Proficiency in IT and relevant software applications.
  6. Solid understanding of marketing, sales, and HR functions.
  7. Ability to analyze and act upon key performance indicators.
