For more information about Modine, visit modine.com.Position DescriptionThe RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen within the C&I Business Unit for a proactive individual to join the AHU sales team as a Sales Engineer reporting to the Commercial Director.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for the role include:Achieve overall sales target – selling standard and bespoke ranges in line with specificationsGeneration of sales leads and managing the process from initial enquiry to order placement, including final negotiationDevelop and maintain relationships with existing customers, consultants and end users, in line with the Company’s 80/20 strategySeek new business opportunities and create new relationships Understand market requirementsWith the support of the Estimating team, select and cost products using bespoke software packagesFeed into Product Development to assist with coordinating sales strategy with the right equipment and cost elements clearly definedIdentify market movers (new products, systems, trends)Proactive forward planning of monthly appointments and meetingsUpdate CRM as required Required Education & QualificationsDesirable Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and/or the Building Services/HVAC industry (ideally Engineering qualification required, minimum HND or degree)Strong understanding of air handling units.Ability to communicate and work with different groups of people effectively throughout Airedale and externallyYou will have established contacts within Mechanical and Electrical Consultants and ContractorsModine is an equal opportunity employer.
