Exciting opportunity alert A client of mine is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join their team. Ideally, someone with a commercial waste background, but they're open to candidates from other industries with a track record of delivering customer satisfaction and profitable growth. As the Account Executive, you'll generate, develop, and close sales by understanding client requirements, reviewing account margins, and converting upsell/cross-sell opportunities. You'll have experience with account management strategies, CRM-based pipelines, and justifying profitable sales and bonus payments. To be considered for this role, you'll need a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Account Executive or similar, a proven record of client and/or account management, and an understanding of sales and account management processes. You'll also need to be financially and commercially astute, with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. A good working knowledge of the waste industry is preferred, as is the ability to manage and prioritize your own workload effectively. The successful candidate will be ambitious, commercially-minded, and share the company's values of 'doing good' for their customers, communities, and workforce.
