Logistics Administrator / Near Eye, Suffolk / £24,000 per annum / Full time / PermanentOur client are seeking an experienced Logistics Administrator to join their team. You will act as a first point of call for drivers and customers, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of product across the UK.Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.£24,000 per annum.Driving licence is essential due to location.Key responsibilities
  • Scheduling drivers working day, using route planning.
  • Scheduling drivers servicing & contacting customers confirming booking in.
  • Maintaining contact with deliveries and liaising with customers, ensuring a smooth delivery.
  • Booking out orders via courier / booking collections and arranging collections from freight companies.
  • Updating Sage with delivery details / creating despatch notes.
  • Creating commercial invoices for export orders.
  • Updating production schedule spreadsheet and escalating if required.
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with queries regarding delivery and products.
  • Creating pack lists.
Experience required:
  • Experience of UK & Export planning.
  • Planning experience using Google Maps for routing.
  • Previous experience in a transport office.
  • Customer service skills.
Desirable
  • Sage 200 experience.
