Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at Hales Group Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials within our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and Coordinate Shipments: Develop and implement efficient shipping strategies to meet customer delivery requirements, ensuring cost-effective results.
- Support Transport and Distribution Processes: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of products to customers, adhering to all relevant regulations.
- Prepare Documentation: Create and manage necessary documentation for shipments, including packing lists and delivery records.
- Provide Advice and Support: Offer guidance to the sales department on transportation options and obtain quotes from carriers.
- Work with Packing Department: Ensure efficient and effective packing methods are used for shipments, minimizing damage and delays.
- Liaise with Customers and Departments: Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding dispatch of orders, providing necessary information and documentation.
- Coordinate Collections and Deliveries: Arrange for the collection and delivery of goods with distributors and freight forwarders, both domestically and internationally.
- Manage Distribution Routines: Oversee the distribution of spare parts, warranty items, and other miscellaneous dispatches, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Manage Driver Arrival and Departure: Coordinate the arrival and departure of drivers, as well as the loading of vehicles.
- Positive Approach and Communication Skills: Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Administrative Skills and Attention to Detail: Possess good administrative skills and a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Computer Proficiency: Be proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft TEAMS.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Proven Work Experience: Possess proven work experience in a dynamic administrative role, with a strong understanding of logistics and distribution principles.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
