Our client is dedicated to guiding prospective students through the complex journey of university selection, financial aid applications, and beyond, ensuring they secure a place at one of their prestigious partner universities. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join their team in a fully remote role, making a meaningful impact on students' futures.


Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing university contracts, recruiting and managing sub-agents, maintaining existing relationships, attending networking events, and conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities


Secure University Contracts

  • Identify and approach potential university partners.
  • Negotiate and finalise contracts to expand our portfolio of university partnerships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to secure long-term commitments from universities.


Recruit Sub-Agents

  • Identify and recruit local and small agents who require university placement services for their students.
  • Build a robust network of sub-agents to enhance our market reach.
  • Provide training and support to sub-agents to ensure they meet company standards.


Maintain Relationships

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with current sub-agents and university partners.
  • Ensure regular communication and provide ongoing support to address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen existing partnerships.


Networking

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and build professional relationships.
  • Represent the company at various forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.


Market Research

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, new business opportunities, and potential areas for expansion.
  • Analyse competitor activities and market conditions to refine business strategies.



Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the education sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
