As we evolve our offering, we are seeking a Strategic Partnership and Technology Consultant to lead the development of a standalone and complementary SaaS video platform for Jugo. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of digital communication tools in an ambitious, high-growth environment.


Role Overview:


We are looking for an experienced consultant with a solid background in SaaS productization specific to immersive video conferencing technology. The ideal candidate will have technical strategy expertise and can execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan for Jugo’s new video platform. The successful candidate will have held a previous position similar to Chief Business Development Officer or Chief Product Officer and have previous experience integrating complex applications to platforms like Zoom and\or Microsoft Teams including navigating strategic partnerships and collaboration.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in delivering SaaS products from POC to launch, specific to video conferencing technologies.
  • Expertise in developing go-to-market plans, including user acquisition, launch strategies, and long-term growth plans.
  • Experience working with or developing for Zoom or Microsoft Teams in application development highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of navigating technical integration across B2B ensuring frictionless interoperability of our application.
  • Strong network in the video conferencing or SaaS industry.
  • Technical expertise in video technologies, protocols (e.g., WebRTC), and APIs for real-time communication.
  • Methodical thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, user needs, and competitive positioning in the video conferencing space.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive business outcomes.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience launching products with immersive technologies, 3D rendering, or related tools (e.g., Unreal Engine, WebGL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and scalability challenges (e.g., AWS, Azure).



Strategic Leadership:


  • You will own and drive both the strategic and technical direction of a pioneering standalone SaaS video conferencing platform that complements and enhances existing solutions such as, but not limited to Zoom and Teams, with a focus on immersive user experiences.
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance market position and drive growth.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
  • Deliver a fully-fledged, market-ready product that can be sold to customers, while meeting market demands, and preparing it for large-scale production and distribution.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, sales, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements ensuring high-quality solutions that align the technical development with business objectives.
  • Create, own, define and implement a go-to-market (GTM) strategy, covering approaches such as partnerships, add-on, and stand-alone application.
  • Positioning, product launch, and user acquisition plans.
  • Drive innovation and stay ahead of trends in video communication and enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Providing thought leadership and strategic insights at c-level.


Platform Architecture and Design:


  • Architect and design scalable and robust video conferencing solutions that, providing high quality and detailed documentation.
  • Managing key approvals and stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the overall performance and user experience of the SaaS video conferencing platform.
  • Delivering a product that is reliable, scalable, and user-friendly.


Integration and Interoperability:


  • Ensure seamless integration of video conferencing capabilities with other SaaS products and third-party applications.
  • Address interoperability challenges and work towards standardising protocols and interfaces.
  • Ensure the platform meets industry standards for security, scalability, and performance.


Availability and Accessibility:


  • Provide cost effective solutions to disaster recovery, business continuity and redundancy.
  • Ensuring uptime is 99.9% or higher and ability to accurately measure\monitor.
  • Delivering a product that users can access when they need it with simplicity while being cost competitive.
