Our client seeks an enthusiastic and driven Advancement Director to join their team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in Development, Fundraising, Marketing, and/or Admissions who is ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational setting.

As the Advancement Director, you will:

  • Create, manage, and oversee The College’s strategic plan for Advancement.
  • Work closely with, and report directly to, the Headmaster.
  • Lead and inspire the Advancement Team to execute on key strategic initiatives and achieve excellence in all areas.

About You: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in Development, Fundraising, Marketing, or Admissions.
  • Highly developed leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A diplomatic, open-minded approach with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and influence others.
  • High levels of cultural awareness and emotional intelligence, essential for effective relationship-building and collaboration.

They exist to provide a quality all round education for pupils aged 13 – 18 and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Candidates must be prepared to undergo child protection screening and an Enhanced DBS check.

You will be required to provide proof of your identity, right to work in the UK and qualifications during the selection process. They will seek references on short-listed candidates that will include questions about past disciplinary actions or allegations in relation to behaviour with children and may approach previous employers for information to verify particular experience or qualifications before interview. An online search will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all short-listed candidates.
