About the Job:
Responsible for sales forecasting, creating, and executing sales strategies that drive increased revenue, maintaining, expanding, and developing new relationships with assigned Channel Partner(s) for GENTEX product lines, as agreed with line management, in an assigned geographical territory. The candidate will execute business strategies that contribute to achieving business goals inclusive of sales and profitability.
Essential Functions:
- Identify/Capture all opportunities for Aircrew Systems Business within the Italian and Southeast European region.
- Development of prioritized Sales revenue stream to meet agreed targets.
- Development of Defense programmatic and sales revenue streams in support of BD/Segment leads/SMEs, as agreed with Line Manager/Global VP’s
- Channel partner development and management for all applicable technologies and products.
- Management of Channel Partners and RTM’s to effectively drive increased sales and ensure compliance with partner agreement.
- Development and management of 5Q sales forecast (and 5-year business development pipeline) within assigned geographical region. Participate as needed in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to facilitate achievement of lead time and on-time delivery objectives within the assigned territories.
- Coordinate the involvement of Gentex personnel inclusive of inside sales, sales support, product management, and business development management resources to achieve objectives.
- Proactively manage tactical execution to meet assigned sales targets that support strategic objectives with Channel Partner(s) within assigned geographical region.
- Lead, support, analyse joint partner planning process to develop mutual performance objectives and goals.
- Develop a regional strategy according to geographic business constructs and market situation.
- With support of Channel Partner(s), create an internal mapping of the accounts the channel is selling into, what products, mixes, and timing which will support out-year planning efforts.
- Deliver Voice of the Customer (VOC) input to the product management function to enable alignment between product portfolio and market needs.
- Recommend cost effective participation in advertising, website entries, industry shows/exhibits, forums, giveaway’s to MarCom group for implementation.
- Evaluates potential and timing for channel partner/agent expansion and/or remove/replacement of Channel Partner(s).
- Advises on local, national, and international legislation and documentation affecting international sales.
- Collects market intelligence about international accounts and analyses data.
- Remains current on variances in legal and cultural issues and determines their effect on sales
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Degree educated, preferred but not essential.
- Military background is a plus but not a requirement.
- Significant experience in the aerospace industry to include channel or sales management activities, with at least 5 years in channel management, sales, or marketing role in a quality-driven organisation, most preferably in the Aerospace & Defence industry.
- Experience working and interfacing with international contacts, of Government, Military, and/or Civil personnel preferred

- Provides constant contact with both internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to perform at the highest level of professionalism with respect to communication and interaction with internal and external customers.
- Extensive external customer contact is necessary
