Our client, a reputable company based in Aspatria, is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. You don't need to have worked in supply chain previously however we are looking for an experienced Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ordering: Manage the ordering of packaging and ingredients on a daily/weekly basis, ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
  • Purchase Orders: Raise and manage purchase orders accurately, maintaining proper records within the company's systems.
  • Goods Receipting: Handle the receipting of goods-in, ensuring all deliveries are accounted for and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Stock Management: Clear purchase orders on the IFS Stock Management system, ensuring inventory records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • General Administration: Perform daily administrative tasks as required by the team, contributing to the smooth running of the department.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Recent experience in an administrative role is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and team members.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, particularly when handling orders and stock records.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems.
