The Role

As an Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant, you will be involved in designing and building a Payroll module for UK and Republic of Ireland. As a Payroll Subject Matter Expert, you will be intensely involved in leading the discussion with Customer SME team to identify the problem and propose solutions. Additional knowledge on functional areas such as Core HR, Absence is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Oracle HCM Payroll Cloud functional consulting service as a Subject Matter Expert and lead discussions with Customer team.
  • Identify and gather business requirements, build and configure Employee Payroll setup/data, administer earnings/deductions/garnishment payroll elements.
  • Identify functionality gaps and provide workaround solutions.
  • Advise customer team on solutions options (for workarounds), risks, and any possible impacts on other processes (Core HR, Recruitment, Absence).
  • Interact and assist the project technical team members responsible for developing Payroll related Data migration, Integration and Reports.


Your Profile:

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Experience in Payroll Functional Consultant.
  • UK/IE Payroll Implementation work experience.
  • Proficiency in all delivered UK/IE Payroll processing and Payroll report.
  • Knowledge and experience with full Oracle HCM Payroll implementation life cycle.
  • Expertise in UK/IE Payroll Cloud Tax update activities and payroll testing after each upgrade during implementation phases.



Good to have:

  • Fusion HCM Payroll Implementation (UK) Certification preferred.
