Job Title: Full-Stack Software DeveloperLocation: York/Leeds area (3 days per week in-office) Salary: Competitive Experience: 1+ year commercial experienceAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a motivated Full-Stack Software Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development, who is eager to contribute to building high-quality web applications. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust and user-focused solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSBuild and maintain CMS-driven websites, ideally with UmbracoWork across both front-end and back-end layers to deliver end-to-end featuresCollaborate with the team to design scalable, maintainable software solutionsParticipate in code reviews, testing and debuggingSupport continuous improvement of development processes and standardsContribute to project planning and provide accurate time estimatesRequired Skills & Experience1+ year experience in a commercial software development environmentStrong knowledge of C#/.NET (preferably .NET Core)Working experience with SQL databasesSolid front-end skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3Experience with Umbraco CMS (or willingness to learn quickly)Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibilityAbility to work collaboratively in an agile environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesirable SkillsExperience with REST APIsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)Understanding of version control systems (Git)Exposure to CI/CD pipelinesWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryHybrid working model (3 days per week in our York/Leeds office)Supportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunities for professional development and growth
