Job Title: Full-Stack Software Developer Location: York/Leeds area (3 days per week in-office) Salary: Competitive Experience: 1+ year commercial experience About the Role We’re looking for a motivated Full-Stack Software Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development, who is eager to contribute to building high-quality web applications. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver robust and user-focused solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C#/.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Build and maintain CMS-driven websites, ideally with Umbraco Work across both front-end and back-end layers to deliver end-to-end features Collaborate with the team to design scalable, maintainable software solutions Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging Support continuous improvement of development processes and standards Contribute to project planning and provide accurate time estimates Required Skills & Experience 1+ year experience in a commercial software development environment Strong knowledge of C#/.NET (preferably .NET Core) Working experience with SQL databases Solid front-end skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 Experience with Umbraco CMS (or willingness to learn quickly) Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Desirable Skills Experience with REST APIs Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) Understanding of version control systems (Git) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines What We Offer Competitive salary Hybrid working model (3 days per week in our York/Leeds office) Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for professional development and growth
