 This is an exciting opportunity to join the Advertising Sales team in our clients Norwich office as Advertising Sale Executive. The company are a long standing reputable company.

We are looking for a dynamic advertising salesperson with a proven track record in sales to take the publications revenue to the next level.

You will be working as part of a small team developing relationships with existing and new advertising clients.

Our client is small enough to be friendly and fun, but large enough to be innovative and challenging. If you’re the type of person who would fit well with this ethos, we would like to hear from you.

Key Duties

• Build relations with existing advertising clients and hunt for new client opportunities.• Achieve monthly targets for display advertising in the printed magazine and sell online and email advertising.• Achieve targets for awards seats, tables, sponsorship and post-awards logo packages• Actively sell on the phone, email and via face-to-face meetings• Maximise all sales opportunities for continued growth• Monitor all competitive media & be aware and report on new developments in the market• Keeping Sage CRM up to date on your client’s contacts and orders• Obtaining written confirmation of ads booked• Liaise with accounts department regarding unpaid accounts and invoicing queries• Produce commission sheets on a monthly basis

Essential Skills/Experience

• Adept at working with clients at all levels from Marketing Executive to Marketing Director• High level of selling skills• Ability to work on own initiative• Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritise own workload• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Good presentation skills• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team• Methodical with a keen eye for detail• Good levels of numeracy and literacy• High level of communication skills• Good levels of understanding about the financial market• Previous experience working in a similar advertising sales role• Skills in IT including MS Word, Excel and database management
